- HTML Help and Internet Explorer
- ===============================
-
- This program uses HTML Help, which requires additional Windows
- components that were not included with the original versions of
- Windows(r) 95 and NT4. These components could not be found
- on your computer.
-
- The easiest way to obtain support for HTML Help is to install
- Microsoft(r) Internet Explorer V.4 or higher. The latest version of
- Internet Explorer is available free from Microsoft at:
-
- http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/?IE
-
- A few users prefer not to update Internet Explorer. On Windows(r) 95
- and NT4 machines that have the basic components of Internet Explorer 3
- installed you can obtain support for HTML Help by installing the HTML
- Help runtime files package HHUPD.EXE, which is available free from
- Microsoft at:
-
- http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/htmlhelp/html/hhupd.exe
-
- On Windows NT4 you must be logged on with full administrator
- privileges to install HHUPD.EXE.
-
- This will not work on all systems, however. Specifically, it won't
- work on very early versions of Windows(r) NT4 and 95 that did not have
- the basic components of Microsoft(r) Internet Explorer 3 installed,
- which are essential for displaying HTML Help. If you still can't
- display the Help file after installing HHUPD.EXE then you're going to
- have to bite the bullet and install IE4 or higher.
